NH48 is fast to Ajmer (135 km). Ajmer bypass is quick. From Beawar onwards the landscape flattens and the road opens up — Pali is a standard lunch halt. The approach to Jodhpur via Sojat is well-signposted; hotels around the Clock Tower or Umaid Bhawan are 20–30 minutes from the bypass entry.
